Dover Cruise Port

 Dover's main purpose is as a ferry port between the United Kingdom and France, and this business predominates at the port. Outside of the summer, cruise ship excursions are sparse, at Dover Cruise Port. The ferry terminal is located at the Eastern Docks, and the three cruise terminals are located at the Western Docks. Dover, a town, is located in the middle. Terminal 2, the busiest terminal, is regularly used by larger cruise ships. Central London is approximately 75 miles (120 kilometers) from the Dover cruise terminals or Dover UK cruise port. The port is one of three used by cruise ships visiting the London region. Southampton and Harwich are the other two options, both of which are near to London but further away than Dover.
